A planned software upgrade took significantly longer than expected, resulting in temporary unavailability of www.scalyr.com
from Sat Apr 20 04:58 AM GMT to Sat Apr 20 05:44 AM GMT, and eu.scalyr.com from Sat Apr 20 6:14 AM GMT to Sat Apr 20 6:46 AM GMT. During the affected time periods, log ingestion was delayed, and most queries failed. In addition, in the US (www.scalyr.com
) environment, approximately 5 minutes of data ingested during this time period was lost.
The root cause has been identified and remedied. In addition, we have instituted a number of procedural changes to reduce the possibility of unanticipated problems with upgrades in the future.
